The Tree House
Austin, United States, 2024, 3:21 min
The film about the Tree House begins with an early morning thunderstorm sequence that introduces the view. As the rain settles down, a trip down memory lane in a conversation between the architect and the architect-client with whom he collaborated on the design brings recollections about the site as a series of atmospheric images introduce textures, views, movements, and the landscape surrounding the house. The last sequence of the film reveals the back side of the house as the big oak tree casts its shadow on the facade and the moon rises over the roof. A final interior scene brings the viewer inside the house in a calm and peaceful moment.
